What you send

The text you type into the box is sent to this site's server so it can be worked on. Nothing else about you is collected by the page — there is no analytics script, no advertising tag, and no third-party embed on this site.

Your language choice is kept in your own browser (localStorage) so the site opens in the same language next time. It never leaves your device.

What is sent to Sova

If you are signed in, your text is forwarded to Sova at ai.sovasta.com to produce a first draft. The request carries a short-lived signature that names this site and your account identifier, so Sova can tell who asked. It is valid for sixty seconds and cannot be reused.

If you are not signed in, nothing is sent to Sova. There is no account to sign on behalf of, so the page tells you so and runs without a draft.

What is deliberately withheld

Essei works by not seeing part of the context. Before the coaching step, some surrounding fields are replaced with a marker. Which fields were withheld is shown to you on the results page, every time. This is a product behaviour, not a privacy measure — it is listed here so the page you see matches what happened.

What is stored

At the time of writing, nothing is stored on the server. No database is attached to this deployment, and every response says so in the recorded field. When you close the tab, the session is gone.

When storage is switched on, the design is already written down: only a hash and a length of your text, plus the counts shown on the results page. The text itself is not stored unless you turn that on yourself — that switch is a separate table in the schema, and it is empty.

Signing in

Signing in uses One Sovasta ID. The site sets one cookie, marked HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax, to hold your session. It is not readable by scripts and is not used for tracking.
